On Friday, June 9, 2023, the representatives from BAZNAS Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah made a working visit to BAZNAS' Directorate of Research and Development (DKPN—PUSKAS). The Zakat Management Laboratory (Laboratorium Manajemen Zakat—LMZ) was once known as the BAZNAS Goes to Campus Program by The DKPN of BAZNAS RI. In order to improve the capability of zakat teaching and the proficiency of university graduates in the field of zakat, BAZNAS is currently creating the LMZ program in connection with universities to strengthen the national zakat ecosystem.

Mr. Muhammad Hasbi Zaenal, Ph.D., The Director of ZIS-DSKL Research and Development, the Head of the Division, and staff members of the Innovation and Creative Programmes Division attended to represent DKPN BAZNAS RI. Also there on behalf of BAZNAS Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah was Prof. Dr. Dahlia Syuaib, S.H., M.A. as Chairperson of BAZNAS Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah, and Masdiana Husain Ain, S.Sos, M.Kes., as Vice Chairperson on Distribution and Utilisation of BAZNAS Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah.

BAZNAS Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah appreciated the presence and outreach initiatives of LMZ in promoting its objectives. Hopefully, the ambiance created by this work visit might help Indonesia's national zakat system improvement in the near future.
