Wednesday, 7th August 2023 - The National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) is again holding the 7th Indonesian Conference of Zakat (ICONZ): An International Conference at Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Muhammad Jakarta on 7th November to 8th November 2023. The 7th ICONZ has become a delightful awaited event for authors, academicians and others in Indonesia even abroad by seeing a successful 6th ICONZ in the previous year.

The 7th ICONZ proudly presented a theme “Building Bridges to Economic Prosperity: Zakat’s Role in Driving Inclusive and Sustainable Transformation''. This theme is expected to increase enthusiasm for zakat literacy and contribute to economic prosperity in society.

Moreover, Call for Paper activities have been opened and will be closed on 1st October 2023. The papers collected not only come from the work of Indonesian academics but also from abroad. The best papers will be invited and presented at the ICONZ conference in Jakarta later. Not only collecting papers, but 7th ICONZ also offered publication opportunities which are LAZ: The International Journal of Zakat and Proceedings 7th ICONZ BAZNAS 2023. The implementation of the seventh ICONZ BAZNAS in collaboration with four campuses, namely Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, Universitas Islam As-Syafi’iyah, Universitas Pancasila and Institut Ilmu Al-Qur’an.
