The commemoration of the 78th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia is a momentum for the National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) to improve services for mustahik and muzaki.

The commemoration ceremony was held solemnly at the BAZNAS RI Office, Jalan Matraman Raya No. 134 Jakarta, Thursday (17/8/2023).

Vice Chairman of BAZNAS RI, Mokhamad Mahdum, SE, MIDEc, Ak, CA, CPA, CWM, acted as the inspector of the ceremony. Other BAZNAS RI leaders were also present, Ir. M. Nadratuzzaman Hosen, MS, M.Sc, Saidah Sakwan MA, Rizaludin Kurniawan, M. Si, Colonel (Ret) Drs. Nur Chamdani, Drs. Achmad Sudrajat, Lc, MA, and General Secretary Dr. Muchlis Muhammad Hanafi, Lc, MA.

On the occasion of the ceremony which was attended by the amil of BAZNAS RI, Mokhamad Mahdum conveyed the importance of improving amil performance in serving muzaki and mustahik.
